Motor model is a kind of code used to facilitate the business contact between departments of use, design and manufacture and to simplify the description of product name, specification and type in technical documents.

Motor model composition and meaning

It is composed of four sections in sequence, such as motor type code, motor characteristic code, design number and excitation mode code.

1. Type code refers to the Chinese phonetic alphabet used to characterize various types of motors. For example: asynchronous motor Y synchronous motor T synchronous generator TF DC motor Z DC generator ZF

2. The characteristic code is to characterize the performance, structure or use of the motor, which is also expressed by Chinese Pinyin letters. For example: flameproof type B represents YB axis flow fan with YT electromagnetic brake type YEJ frequency conversion speed regulation type YVP pole variable multi-speed YD crane with YZD, etc.

3. Design serial number refers to the design sequence of motor products, expressed by Arabic numbers.

For the products designed for the first time, the design number is not marked, and the products derived from the series of products are marked in the design order. For example: Y2YB2

4. The excitation mode code is represented by letters, S represents the third harmonic, J represents thyristor, and X represents phase complex excitation. Such as:

Y2-- 160M1-8Y: model, indicating asynchronous motor;

2: Design serial number, "2" represents the product of the first improved design; 160: center height, is the height from the center of the shaft to the plane of the frame;

M1: Frame length specification, M is medium, where footnote "2" is the second specification of type M core, and type "2" is longer than type "1" core.

8: pole number, "8" refers to the 8-pole motor. Such as: Y630-10/1180

Y denotes asynchronous motor; 630 indicates the power of 630 kW. Outer diameter of 10-pole stator core is 1180MM. The motor model preparation method, detailed description of the motor model in our country generally adopts the following four parts.

1- Product code, 2 Specification Code, 3- Special Environment Code, 4- Supplementary Code

I. Product code

That is, the motor belongs to the series and type code.

Generally, it is composed of one or several letters of the representative Chinese characters of the motor's series and name.

For example: AC induction motor and the name of the Chinese characters Y;; Ac synchronous motor T'; Ac synchronous generator is TF; Electric valve with single phase asynchronous motor YDT.

In this part, the international common letter code, which has been used for many years, is sometimes used, such as AC single-phase capacitor motor, where the code is YC, where; C; Is the international general capacitance code.

When the letter code is followed by an Arabic number, the number represents the design sequence number or the number of modifications of the series of products, sometimes also become an algebra.

Ii. Specification code

It is the motor specification form code. It includes: motor structural parameters, such as frame number, core specifications, center height, flange end cover code, motor performance parameters (pole number, capacity, voltage, current, speed, etc.) In this part, the items that can be expressed by specific numbers are given by the Ariber number, such as center height, rated voltage, etc.; Those that cannot or cannot be expressed by specific numbers are denoted by letters or numbers.

Such as the length of the base with L\M\S(long, medium, short English word letters), the same base with different iron core with 1, 2, 3 and other numbers (the larger the number, the longer the core).

The flange end code is represented by the international letter symbol FF(flange with through hole) together with the diameter of the base circle of the center of the flange fixing hole. That is to say, the center height, the length of the frame, the length of the core and the number of poles

1. Center height refers to the height from the motor axis to the bottom corner surface of the machine base; According to the different center height, the motor can be divided into four kinds: large, medium, small and micro, among which the center height H is 45mm~71mm belongs to the micro motor; H in 80mm~315mm belong to the small motor; H in 355mm~630mm belong to the medium motor; H above 630mm belongs to the large motor.

2. The length of the frame is represented by international letters:

S - short frame

M -- middle base L -- long base

3, the length of the iron core with Arabic numerals 1, 2, 3, 4... From long to short respectively.

4, pole number is divided into 2 poles, 4 poles, 6 poles, 8 poles, etc.

3. The special environment code shall have the following provisions:

The special working environment applicable to the motor is given. Denoted by a specific letter or letter plus a number.

Special environment code "high" with the original G ship (" sea ") with H "outside" with W chemical prevention "rot" with F tropical zone with T wet hot zone with TH dry tropical zone with TA such as W indicated that the motor can be used outdoors;

TH indicates that the motor can be used in hot and humid environment; This part is only given when needed, that is to say, the common motor does not have this part.

Iv. Supplementary code is only applicable to motors with supplementary requirements

The contents include installation method, derivation serial number, etc., and are composed of letters (in addition to the special symbols stipulated in a unified manner, generally using Chinese Pinyin initials) or Arabic numerals.

For example: the meanings of each code for the motor model YB2-132S-4H are as follows:

Y: Product type code, indicating asynchronous motor; B: Product characteristic code, representing flameproof type;

2: product design serial number, indicating the second design;

132: motor center height, indicating that the distance from the axis to the ground is 132 mm;

S: length of motor frame, expressed as short frame;

4: pole number, indicating a 4-pole motor;

H: Special environment code, indicating Marine motor.

For example, V1 indicates that the motor should be vertically installed (spindle down); P18 indicates that the motor is the 18th derivative product. The content represented by the Supplementary code shall be specified in the product standard.

For example, YD2-160m2-4THV3: YD2 is the first part, 160m2-4 is the second part, TH is the third part, and V3 is the fourth part.

YD2 indicates that the motor is a common variable pole multiple (D) speed three-phase variable (Y) step motor of the second design or second generation product

160 indicates that the frame number of the motor is 160. For the motor with footing, the height of its shaft center is directly (unit: mm); For the motor without feet, it means that the height of the motor base and axis is 160mm, and the inner and outer diameters of the machine base with feet are the same.

M2 stands for medium length frame; The length of the iron core used is No. 2

4 indicates that the number of poles is 4

TH indicates that the motor can be used in hot and humid environments

V3 indicates that the motor is mounted vertically when used, and the spindle is extended upwards.
