The main difference between explosion-proof motor and ordinary motor

Issuing time:2019-10-14 16:11

1. Different meanings:

(1) Explosion-proof motor is a kind of motor that can be used in inflammable and explosive places, and does not produce electric spark when running.

(2) Electric machinery (English: Electric machinery, commonly known as "motor") refers to according to the law of electromagnetic induction to achieve the conversion or transmission of electrical energy an electromagnetic device.

2, different uses:

(1) Explosion-proof motor is mainly used in coal mine, oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries. In addition, it is also widely used in textile, metallurgy, city gas, transportation, grain and oil processing, papermaking, medicine and other departments. As the main power equipment, explosion-proof motor is usually used to drive pumps, fans, compressors and other transmission machinery.

(2) ordinary motor can no longer be used in flammable and explosive situations.

3. Different classification:

(1) Explosion-proof motor:

According to the principle of the motor:

It can be divided into explosion-proof asynchronous motor, explosion-proof synchronous motor and explosion-proof DC motor.

② According to the place of use:

It can be divided into explosion-proof motor for underground coal mine and explosion-proof motor for factory.

③ According to the principle of explosion protection:

It can be divided into flameproof motor, increasing safety motor, positive pressure motor, sparkless motor and dust explosion-proof motor.

(2) Ordinary motor:

① According to the type of working power supply, it can be divided into DC motor and AC motor.

② According to the structure and working principle can be divided into: DC motor, asynchronous motor, synchronous motor.

③ According to the starting and running mode can be divided into: capacitive starting single-phase asynchronous motor, capacitive running single-phase asynchronous motor, capacitive starting and running single-phase asynchronous motor and split single-phase asynchronous motor.

④ According to the use can be divided into: drive motor and control motor.

⑤ According to the structure of the rotor can be divided into cage induction motor (the old standard called squirrel cage induction motor) and wound rotor induction motor (the old standard called wound linear induction motor).

⑥ According to the running speed can be divided into: high speed motor, low speed motor, constant speed motor, speed motor. Low speed motor is divided into gear reduction motor, electromagnetic reduction motor, torque motor and claw pole synchronous motor.
